Fossil Cystoid Pleurocystites Trilobite Crinoid Age

Up for bid is a beautiful grouping of pleurocystites squamosus cystoids from the bobcaygeon formation here in brechin, ontario. This is a great exampel of the fine preservation of ordovician echinoderms from this area.

These cystoids as you can see are outstanding specimens contrasting nicely against teh gray matrix making this a very displayable piece. The limestone block weighs 2 lbs.
