These pieces weigh 190 grams and have a nice translucency. These are small ot medium sized pieces. Once polished these pieces will either eb blood red or deep cognac color. Mexican amber is from the miocene and oligocene epochs and is 22-26 million years old. Mexican amber like dominican amber formed from the hymenaea protear tree. Thees pieces comes from the source. The color is red and this could be cut, carved, polished or kept as a museum specimen. Here is your chance ot get two nice large pieces of this otherwise hard to get amber.
