Tyrannosaurus Daspletosaurus Tooth Dinosaur Fossil RareThis pre-max daspletosaurus tooth was found in the judith river formation of montana on private land with permission. The judith river formation is even older then the hell creek formation 75-90 million years old. Daspletosaur was an early tyrannosaur related to t-rex. The premax tooth was a front tooth double serrated in the front and rarer then cheek teeth because their are fewer of them in the mouth. This tooth was found in a hard sandstone channel which helped preserve the great color and serrations of the tooth. The tooth measures just over 1 inch in length by 1/2 of an inch in width. Their is no restoration other then crack being stabilized by cyanoacrylate. The last picture is for reference of the dinosaur. Be sure ot check out my ebay store for more items! |
